Vannessa Circe is a visual artist from Bogota, Colombia, and is currently living in Florida. Her paintings incorporate expressions of feeling and personal experience through informative, satirical, and deeply spiritual themes. Many of her latest works are inspired by the beautiful Indigenous cultures and ecosystems that she has researched and worked with personally in Colombia. Vannessa is a Co-Founder of Unbounded World, whose mission is an Integrated Approach to Preserving Nature and Culture. Unbounded World began in 2015 with the purpose of strengthening conscious understanding and balance by communicating cultural and environmental themes through art, science and writing. We aim to help ensure preservation and fairness in the treatment of the natural world and of indigenous cultures. We work directly with native communities in different parts of Colombia, including with several tribes in the Amazon, and help provide them with sustainable income through selling their beautiful traditional crafts in the US. Many of these products are fully organic, made entirely by hand and of natural fibers and wool, and all have a direct connection to their spiritual and natural world. Profits from the selling of the crafts are directly reinvested into these beautiful tribal communities, who are true caretakers of their land, and we also help fund and implement environmental monitoring and conservation projects within the native communities.
